Welcome to the Community Homestay Program. We’re here to help you with accommodation during the Games.

The Homestay Progam offers the people of the Gold Coast a unique opportunity to actively participate in the hosting of the Games by opening their hearts and homes to the official Games Volunteers, the families of athletes and general guests.

It’s anticipated that up to a third of the 15,000 Games Volunteers will travel to the Gold Coast and other venue cities to help stage the Games. We are looking to provide affordable bed and breakfast for volunteers and others for a minimum of ten days during the Games.

1/ Do you need accommodation? 

The Community Homestay Program is open to Games Volunteers who have been offered an official volunteer position for the 2018 Commonwealth Games, families of athletes and general Games visitors. Please fill out the registration form below. All applications will be processed, screened and approved by the Beyond Gold Homestay team.

2/ Would you like to provide accommodation?

Fantastic! We would love to hear from you – please complete the registration form below.  Once accepted, you will receive a Host Handbook and one of our Beyond Gold Homestay team will be in touch to help you prepare.
